AOLA Article Featured in K-12 Publication

The New York State School Boards Association publishes an award-winning newspaper called “On Board” for its members.  The publication provides current information pertinent to the K-12 market as well as feature stories on specific topics.  The August 2017 issue features an article written by Appel Osborne entitled “What Makes a School Building Project an Aesthetic and Environmental Success?”.  Since the field of landscape architecture is commonly misunderstood, we took the opportunity to clarify what our firm and staff do every day.  We hope you have a moment to read the article and learn more about the history of landscape architecture, what becoming a landscape architect entails, and how site design benefits our environment and the end users of our projects!
