Appel Osborne Contributes to "Parklets for the People" Project

This year has certainly tested the resilience of our global community, but a positive outcome of 2020 is that it has sharpened our ability to adapt.  Appel Osborne is proud to contribute to the innovative “Parklets for the People” project that is taking place in downtown Syracuse which is an effort to support local businesses that have been impacted by the restrictions of COVID.  The project is inspired by the national PARK(ing) Day movement and involves the creation of small park-like settings in urban parking spaces.  This allows for an extension of seating for adjacent businesses and promotes the enjoyment of the outdoors during the summer months.  It has been uplifting seeing the community come together to support the project through visiting the local establishments and raising funds to support the construction of the spaces.
