NYUASLA Takes Formal Position on I-81 Project

AOLA Partner, Vince Pietrzak, on behalf of the New York Upstate Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architecture (NYUASLA), has submitted an open letter to the Department of Transportation (DOT) to voice the Chapter’s position on the I-81 reconstruction project.  The Chapter’s letter voices their support for the community grid option.  As the letter states, NYUASLA has closely followed the I-81 corridor study and hopes their stance will receive a fair and accurate assessment by the State DOT.  The letter goes into detail about the advantages of this option.  Click the link to read the letter on syracuse.com
