Oswego Health Project in CNY Business Journal

Appel Osborne is providing site design services for the transformation of a former grocery store into a behavioral-health care facility for Oswego Health.  Plans are being finalized to convert the 43,000 s.f. building into a modern 20-bed facility with secure outdoor spaces, renovated parking, and landscaping.  The site renovations include an ambulance dock, circulation improvements, and reduction of existing pavement to create a softened landscape for the new facility.  The project site is adjacent the public walking trail that connects East Bridge Street with the Fort Ontario State Historic Site.  The site design will also include rain gardens for storm water management, courtyard, pedestrian circulation, and separate staff and visitor parking.
